Saferay services KK with its office in Kamiyacho, Minato-ku, Tokyo is part of the global Independent Power Producer (IPP) saferay group, founded in 2010 and headquartered in Berlin, Germany. Originally founded to support our own asset base of more than 170 MWp (225 MWp including third party projects) installed capacity in Japan, the O&M team with its experienced Chief Electrical Engineers (CEEs) and Field Service Engineers (FSEs) provides plant owners reliable O&M services across Japan.

Our services are ranging from periodical inspections, METI and utility communication, preventive and corrective maintenance of all power plant components to greens maintenance, snow clearing, module cleaning to repowering, technical consulting and asset management. We support asset owners from basic O&M activities to full scope.

Management-Team

Karsten (Dipl. Kfm.) has been working in the solar industry for more than 15 years. As Senior Manager O&M at the former world market leader Q.Cells, he was responsible for the operational management of solar power plants with more than 350 MW worldwide. Since 2012, he has been heading the O&M division of the saferay Group with more than 300 MW in Germany, Japan and Chile and a team of more than 20 engineers and technicians.

In 2019 he founded the company Blueray Services KK as a specialist in central inverters together with Benjamin Statnik.

Yasushi Mori, licensed Class-1 Chief Electrical Engineer and Professional Engineer, Japan (Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Engineering Management), has 30 years of experience in maintenance, design, operation and technical training of High Voltage electrical equipment at electric railroad and electrical equipment management companies, 10 of which have been in the operational management of solar power plants.
